Guo Lab Undergraduate Tara Young wins 1st place in AAAS Poster Competition

Tara Young, an undergraduate researcher in the lab of Assistant Professor Monica Guo, won first place in the AAAS 2024 Student E-Poster Competition in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology as an Undergraduate presenter. Along with an electronic prize of $500, a year’s digital AAAS membership that includes a digital subscription to the journal of science, and a certificate, she will be recognized in an ad in the April 19 issue of Science.
